IOAB works under the guidelines provided by International Organization for Standardization (ISO) for Accreditation Bodies. IOAB accreditation procedures are aligned with the requirements of ISO/IEC 17011 – General Requirements for Accreditation Bodies accrediting conformity assessment bodies. IOAB continually improves the process of evaluation of accredited assessment bodies and regularly conducts the surveillance activities for accredited assessment bodies to ensure international standards certification services complied with industry best practices.
